Le Baron’s André Saraiva On Art, Love Letters, And Nightlife
Le Baron wasn’t the only New York opening by nightlife entrepreneur André Saraiva this month. Lil’ Andre is also an artist, and his first NYC exhibition, “Love Letters,” opened at Half Gallery last Saturday, luring a crowd of the city’s beautiful and damned at the  unusually early hour of 6:00 p.m. The tiny gallery space was packed  with fashionable bodies, many speaking foreign languages, commenting on  the art, and scanning the well-lit room for faces familiar under darker  circumstances. Breaking: Le Baron Gets Liquor License Approved…Finally

The highly anticipated arrival of Le Baron mayfinally actually happen. After nearly two years of dancing around the idea of opening (and making films and DJing in the meantime), it has been reported that New York nightlife staple Andre Saraiva’s Chinatown nightclub has been officially approved by the State Liquor Authority, which leads us to believe that Andre is getting his act together. Apparently, this was the final hurdle standing in the way of Le Baron’s opening, so theoretically the club should be opening soon.
